Board member and friend, Fr. William Bevington, who is 83, retired on July 1, after nearly 57 years of service as a priest in the Diocese of Nashville.  After serving as pastor of a number of parishes, his last stint was at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville, TN, where he served as pastor for the past 19 years.
As Board member for the past three years, Fr. Bevington has a heart for Haiti, and traveled there with Theresa Patterson in 1983.  His love, compassion, and generosity for the Haitian people prompted him to request that in lieu of gifts to him for his retirement, donations be made to Visitation Hospital Foundation, which was founded by the Parish Twinning Program of the Americas in 1999 for the purpose of providing health care and health education for the poor of Haiti.
Fr. Bevington has served on the Board of Directors for Visitation Hospital Foundation for the past three years and will continue to serve in this capacity.
Anyone wishing to give a gift in Fr. Bevington's honor should click on "Donate Now" button and let us know the gift is Fr. Bevington's honor.  You will receive a tax letter and Fr. Bevington will be notified of your gift.
